The performance is a collaboration between dancer Chollada Phinitduang, writer Cathrine Knudsen and visual artist Aleksander J. Andreassen. It was commissioned by, and performed during AD-VENT in December 2019 in Oslo.
The artist's names were not disclosed until the event started, emulating the surprise element of an advent calendar.
The working process consisted of several meetings and rehearsals where Andreassen suggested new constellations of excerpts from Knudsens writing. A choreography between Knudsen and Phinitduang was also developed, with a corresponding soundtrack.
